Urban Wick Candle Bar of Birmingham, MI is a community partner of U CAN-CER VIVE. 25% of each October Signature Candle sale will be donated to U CAN-CER VIVE to help raise awareness during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, as well as providing vital funds for cancer research to create a cancer free world! Together, we can make a difference in the world of cancer.

U CAN-CER VIVE Comfy For The Cure

Monday, November 13th from 3-7 PM. . .
The giving season is upon us. We want to give back! How about you?! Join U CAN-CER VIVE for our very own Comfy for the Cure event this Fall, where we will be donating hundreds of comfy-cozy blankets to the children in our local hospitals here in Michigan.

$25 provides comfort to a child this giving season.
Our Comfy for the Cure gift from U CAN-CER VIVE includes a fleece tie blanket, port-accessible shirt, wellness kit and bag for a child or young adult spending this giving season in the hospital. As a community, we will be coming together to make these blankets all throughout Michigan in the month of November. Our committee will then be delivering these Comfy for the Cure gifts to our local Michigan hospitals as a part of Giving Tuesday – the Tuesday following Thanksgiving!

Cooking for the Cure is a community-driven project brought to you to raise awareness of cancer research in Michigan and how everyone has the opportunity to give back and volunteer. All the recipes featured are adaptations of dishes we have tried. If you need nutritional value information regarding dishes featured, it is best to speak to your doctor about the ingredients and benefits to your health.

Pickleball for the Cure

Join us in Charlevoix, MI for our first ever Pickleball for the Cure! The Charlevoix area community is so excited to host this inaugural event with U CAN-CER VIVE. We can’t wait to share our hearts with them while testing our skills at this popular game!

Each event is limited to 8 teams in each of the 3.5 & below and 3.5 & above divisions. We will keep a waitlist of two teams per division/per day, so be sure to get on the waitlist if tickets sell out!

The Round Robin format will be limited to 10 minute games or first to 11. The top two point gathering teams will qualify for a championship playoff immediately following.
