Running for the Cure
Todd McKay’s life is not free from the affliction of cancer. In 2010, his sister was diagnosed with thyroid cancer; a year later, Todd was diagnosed with testicular cancer. In 2014 his brother was also diagnosed with testicular cancer. Outside of his family, many of his friends have also had their lives affected by cancer. This is his “why”.

U CAN-CER VIVE Joins Hour Detroit’s Give Detroit Challenge 2017 on Crowdrise
HIGHLAND, MI / SEPT. 21, 2017 — U CAN-CER VIVE Foundation has joined Hour Detroit’s Give Detroit Challenge, a fundraising competition on CrowdRise, the largest crowdfunding platform for good. The Give Detroit Challenge is a friendly fundraising competition where organizations in Southeastern Michigan compete to raise the most money for their cause. Participating organizations will compete for over $25,000 in prize money. U Can-Cer Vive Give Detroit Challenge
We’re really excited to let you know that we’re a part of the Give Detroit Challenge. It’s a fundraising campaign launched by Hour Detroit where organizations in Southeastern Michigan compete to raise the most money with the top team winning a grand prize cash donation of $20,000.
It started on September 29th at 12pm ET and a total of $50,000 will be given away to organizations in the Challenge. The organization that raises the most will receive a $20,000 donation. And, second through fifth place also get large cash donations ranging from $1,000-$10,000. We’re ready to raise as much money as we can so we can win the $20,000 grand prize donation. We will also be reaching out to support our weekly Bonus Challenges.
