On September 15, 2018, a knife throwing enthusiast and casino bazaar came together at M1 Concourse during U CAN-CER VIVE Foundation’s second annual Cure & Couture event, “Drive for the Cure”. The heat of the day transitioned into an even hotter evening by the heat of flaming batons and performance vehicles, leading up to the ultimate reason for the occasion: fundraising for cancer research.

Todd McKay’s life is not free from the affliction of cancer. In 2010, his sister was diagnosed with thyroid cancer; a year later, Todd was diagnosed with testicular cancer. In 2014 his brother was also diagnosed with testicular cancer. Outside of his family, many of his friends have also had their lives affected by cancer. This is his “why”.
